Artist in Residence program - Studio Space Available in NJ

Polish Cultural Foundation in Clark NJ is initiating a new Artist in Residence program for the year of 2014. Residencies will be granted for a period of 6 months with possibility of extension for additional 6 months.
The studios will be located in Building #3, 3,000 SF former board of education building. The building is heated, each studio space will have natural light and residents will be able to use the building kitchenette. Common space in the cellar will be available for woodworking.
Residents will be given an opportunity exhibit their work at Skulski Gallery, Polish Cultural Foundation in Clark and at Gallery Aferro, Newark. In addition the participants will be given access to Foundation facilities during the opening hours.
The Foundation will also provide space for fundraising activities. Any fundraising generated income will be applied to reduce the cost of the studio space fee.
The subsidized studio spaces fee will be $1.20/SF/month.

1. Resume in PDF format (Resume_LastName_FirstName.pdf)
2. Artist Statement in PDF format (Statement_LastName_FirstName.pdf)
3. 10 Images of current work (Image#_LastName_FirstName.jpg, Max. size 1000 pixels at the longest image side)

Application is open to visual artists. However, use of open flame will not be permitted.
Application Deadline is on midnight December 31st, 2013. Interviews will be conducted on January 11, 2013 and Residency will begin on January 15th, 2014.
